I pulled my carrier bearing apart out with my lift, too much down travel and the bearing got pulled apart so now, im gettn a slip yoke in the rear shaft to give me alot more down travel abilities

Finally manned up and cut the grill and put the new one in last night, looks really good.

Do you guys see a problem with me just taking me new wheels in and getting the tires mounted and balanced on them and then just bringing them home and putting them on after the lift is installed. I just dont know if something has to be done with them by the people putting the tire on the wheel.

Plan is to get the tires put on the wheels today, lift kit and put the new tires on on Friday and spend Saturday morning/afternoon at the dealership getting the TPMS recalibrated for the new FJ wheels and a new alignment.

I picked up the black TRD wheels off of a 2008 FJ, they have their own TPMS on already. I was told I just have to take it to the dealership and they hook their little sensor up to it and it recalibrates it to the box in the truck or something along those lines.

gross...106$ to calibrate the new tpms sensors and 60$ for the alignment...guess it could be worse.
