Just a little helpful hint for those that might be contemplating a full 3 inch lift and using Camburg Ball Joint UCA's. This was a response from @motoxscott from Camburg so I suggest using Light Racing Adjustable UCA's if you are going over 2.5 of lift for getting good Caster and proper alignment specs. My alignment was done today I was able to get 2.7 Caster but had to have positive Camber of 0.5 to get it. Because if I want my Camber to be at 0.0 I would only get about 2.0 to 2.2 Caster. Which I thought aftermarket UCA's were supposed to correct Caster issues a lot better than 2.0 to 2.2. But here was Camburg's response.

Camber is the more critical alignment spec to hit so you have no tire wear. You have an OME spring combined with a Bilstein 5100 shock and you said it's setup for 3" of lift. Well since that is on the taller side your caster will be lower because of the anti-dive built into your frame. The taller the ride height, the less available positive caster. We don't set up Tacoma's with that much lift with a coilover and upper arm. We typically set them up at 2.5" for a better ride and better geometry. I also talk to a lot of customer that mix and match parts like that and ride height was taller than the 3" as advertised.

My recommendation would be to lower the ride height slightly, it will greatly improve the ride and give you more positive caster. If you want the taller ride height, the draw back will be slightly lower caster. This holds true with any upper arm.

So in the end get Light Racing UCA's for 375.00 shipped from Headstrongoffroad.com and don't waste 600.00 on UCA's that will not do anything for you over 2.5 inches of lift. Mine will be up for sale soon as long as someone gets me a new set of Light Racing UCA's and puts them in for me.

Camburg states they are now going to update there Website to state that these will not give the caster you are looking for above a 2.5 inch lift. Let's see if they actually do it.

This is bullshit though the only reason I bought these was because were talking about getting up to 2.8 Caster. I was pumped, but now to find out it is for 2.5 inch lifts and under. Never would of wasted my money on these UCA's and would have spent the money on Light racing UCA's

Not worth the hassle. I'll keep the 2.0 to 2.2 caster for now. Then maybe get some Light Racing

This is a double-edged sword. More caster created by the UCA = less tire clearance. Remember, with the stock UCA, caster will be in the negative values, so the Camburg UCA is doing something.

Rather pay 375.00 for something and not 600.00 though
