For sure it's helping me not think about my boring group project for my master's stats class - international methods of mathematics instruction. I actually like it but it's pretty dry obviously.:pccoffee:

Haha, I tend to come on here while doing homework as well. Except I'm in high school.. Becoming a certified welder though! So school isn't too bad.

@jberry813 Hey, will I need the CV boot kit no matter what? Is it possible to take the old boots off the non extended axles?

Why would you buy a $3000 LT kit and reuse consumable parts from 2006?

Yeah Jason has a good point - I decided to keep up with preventative maintenance on my truck in the midst of buying long (really mid) travel components for my truck. It's not cool to be jamming out in the middle of nowhere and have some basic part that got overlooked leave you waiting for help. I'm working on keeping the cooling system on my truck up to date so I don't blow a gasket (literally lol) out in the desert.

I see where you guys are coming from, makes total sense.. And its an inexpensive part that could prevent much more damage down the road:thumbsup:

Right on man - you take advice well - that's going to keep you going w/ as few mistakes as possible. Some guys get all flustered but they seem to disappear just as fast as they get mad...

This isn't a cheap hobby. You have to think bigger. Shit will break. Make sure you budget for repairs and rebuilds. Skipping out on cheap shit is the wrong mentality unless you always want your truck on jack stands.

lol I would start reading every thread in the long travel section - I think I've gone 6 or 7 pages back and have read every page of every thread - even the long travel gallery - maybe not the bs page, but I've read quite a bit of that too. You'll learn a ton if you read a little every day - at least a couple times a week.

Reservoirs give you greater flexibility in how you can mount the shocks if space is a consideration.
