Camper top isn't aligned with the top of my Tacoma

Nope. Beds on 1st gen Double Cabs are all 5 feet, so no go on your 6' XtraCab. BTW, you may also be able to use a topper from a 89-95 Pickup on your Taco, they are pretty similar.

It will. I have a ARE MX off a 2000 on my 2003 extra cab. The MX has more head room then the reg shells and is contoured to line up with the cab. I really like the extra height.

 

Awesome. I'm still on the lookout. Guy with the purple tacoma decided he didn't want to part ways with it because it goes with the truck.

 

Update.. found one that fit.. same color

 

How much did it set ya back?

 

Bought the blue one for $100, sold it for $250..

Found the silver one.. worked the price down to $180.

In theory I spent $30 on it

Not counting the $30 worth of gas to go pick it up

Yeah. Funny thing was it was posted on some buy/sell app that I never use. I was in the ATL airport and decided to look and see for the hell of it.. and then I saw it and was like .. awesome

 

And another plus.. It has carpet inside it. the other one didn't Although. I'm unsure of the brand because I don't see any markings anywhere

 

Usually it is up in or by the interior light.
