Hey everybody. Some buddies and I are going rafting in a few weeks on the Ocoee. We’re looking for some camping near by. We’ve seen thunder rock but we’re looking for some other ideas maybe in the national Forrest. Something free and primitive is ideal.

Check out Blue Valley Campground in the Nantahala. Maybe an hour from Ocoee, not sure exactly how close you are looking to be.

I would say with in an hour. Closer the better. I know of a good bit of camping in north Georgia just none in Tennessee.
