Can 99 Tacoma Wheels go onto my 04 Tundra?

    1999 Black Toyota Tacoma SR5 Prerunner
    My 99 Tacoma says tires are 225/75R15 and 04Tundra tires say P265/65R17. If I understand this correctly are the rims smaller on the Tacoma, thus the tires from it cant be put on Tundra? My 99 has been diagnosed with cancer (frame rust out) and I want to put the all terrain tires on the Tundra. I dont believe I could even put 15 in rims on the Tundra for the tires as I only saw 16's on Toyota website. Looking for someone to help a brotha out.

    Nope, won't work, Tundra's can use some 16" wheels but mostly 17" to be safe to clear the caliper.

    Reserected from the dead.
    I wonder if 16" TRD wheels will work. Been a long time since I dealt with them.

    I can't remember what size TRD wheels I had on my 02 TRD Tundra. It sure looks like the same wheel.

    Yeah the 04 have the 13WL calipers which require at a least a 16 but only certain 16's.

    Yeah that 1st gen Tacoma 5 spoke TRD wheels are the same ones as the Tundra and work.
