Can anyone help to narrow the field?

Hi gentlemen, I'm new to this forum, because I'm looking for Tacoma specific guidance. I have a 2008 Highlander and love it, but it's time to get another vehicle (so soon?). I'm looking for a Tacoma that would have a 5k towing capacity, but not sure which "editions" would have that. It's pretty time consuming to comb through every ad to see the details. Is there a way to narrow what I'm looking for? For example do all "Sport" editions have the tow package? Is there a place that lists the differences between Sport, TRO etc?
The truck would have to be automatic, around 2012-2014, and ideally would have the crew cab, and short bed. And a sunroof would be great, but I could live without it if I have to......Thanks for any help in deciphering all the Tacoma choices.

 

Tow package is rated for 6500lbs, I have a SR5 (base model)with tow package. They don’t necessarily come equip with it.

There’s no specific model that has the tow package(maybe the Baja’s?). You would have to look at the truck description to verify. Also, there unfortunately wasn’t a sunroof option for those years

 

The best way is to pop the hood and look for the oil and fluid coolers.
