I've decided to just save up and get the Rough Country 4" lift. I want to do this right.

Doing it the right way, and Rough Country typically don't go hand in hand.

Really? Why do you say so? I've heard nothing but good about Rough Country.

Full OME 3"lift, LR UCA's,Destination 285/70/17's, 1.25 spidertrax, K&N drop in, 2nd filter removed, Weathertech liners, Toyota bed mat, reverse lights,Wet Oklee's, bedlights and other small stuff.

Riiiiiight. Lets spend 2k + to go play in the mud a few times a year lol, that's "doing it right".

Bshanley, if you only wheel occasionally then either the procomp or rough country will do you fine. Don't mind the lift snobs that try to justify spending what they did on a lift...

If your live in an area where your going to off road regularly and really put your truck through it's paces, then yes, step up to the higher quality lifts. If you're just wanting put 285's under it and play in the mud or go down a trail or two a year, then save your cash..

I had a pro comp 3" lift and only wheel a couple of times a year and I hated it. The lift rode like crap. I spent more money re-doing it than if I woulda just done it right in the first place. I took the P/C lift off in less than a year.. A good lift will serve you well off road, and especially on the road where the majority of my driving was done. Save your money for some good stuff. Think about it you are taking quality parts off your truck to replace them with shit??? Learn from my mistake and put quality back on your Yota. She will love you for it.

Oh and yes I had 295/70/17's=33 on my procomp lift and only trimmed a little of the fender with a hack saw.

Here is my procomp 3" coil over lift with 31570R17. All depends on the amount of clearancing you want to do. 33's no prob. That is what I had prior.
