Can I use K&N oil on TRD air filter???

    Factory Monster Truck Package with reverse gear.
    I know dumb question but I dont know if theres a difference. My supercharger came with TRD air filter and just happen to have K&N oil for air filter laying around....any input??? Thanks fellas

    I used it on my Volant filter and worked just fine

    Thanks....we all heard the horror stories of KN with Toyota but I dont see why TRD would give me a washable filter if it was so bad...so I was concerned maybe its just the KN oil they put on resuable filters

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    In dusty environments, the gauze filters dont filter very well at all. And if you over oil it, it can cause MAF issues.

    I think it was AEM that has the dry washable filters that would be best....but im using whats in front of me now since it came with SC

    If you don't know how to use a product . Horror stories arise . Never a problem from any of my K&N .
