I have a chance to get these tires for a really great price

It's the 4th tire down on the page if you follow this link bellow
    Hankook RW11i pike

    http://www.tiremonkey.com/Tires/Size/265/60-18?address=08242&radius=20&page=1&index=0&sort=PriceAsc#

I only drive 5,500 miles per year with my 05 Tacoma Pre-Runner 2WD mostly highway and the local boat ramp

Could I run these in the summer time also? What are the disadvantages
of running a winter tire like this when there is no snow on the ground?

I'm really loving the look of them But they do have a 14.0 tread depth

Gonna put them on these Wheels in the pic

    Thanks for any info...

they will wear fast, hum and you might lose a little mileage. you can run them all year round and never have any problems though.

A rehash from a couple days ago...

I run Blizzaks for winter on my truck. Awesome in cold and snow, NOT on warm dry roads. Will be taking them off soon.

As temps rise above freezing, the rubber compund which is meant to be pilable in the cold gets soft, if really warm, really soft.

All Handling...Accelerating, braking, cornering, really suffers. Also they will wear fast and your mpg suffers. Finally not meant for high speed summer driving (like your Jersey hwys), they are only 99 mph Q rated cause they arent able to disappate heat like most all-seasons.

I would not run those year round.
