Can out of state license purchase a gun from FFL or Dealer in CA?

I moved to CA recently and still have out of state license. (it doesn't expire for another 4 years) Can I purchase a firearm from a dealer/FFL with an out of state license here in CA or do I need to change it to CA?

This is what Google says
"If you buy a gun from an out of statedealer the firearm must be transferred to an FFL dealer in your state and then transferred to you by an in state dealer. ... In California, starting in the year 2020, you will need a Real ID or RealDrivers License to buy a gun. It costs the same as a regular license."

 

i guess thats a no go then unless i change my license over......bummer

 

Yeah, you need a valid CA license to purchase in state.
