2008 2x4 Sport prerunner sr5 toyota tacoma

I just bought a Pioneer head unit the 3200 BT and I have JBL. They are saying that the wire harness is 140 bucks. Do I have to keep the JBL just to install the head unit? I plan on changing my front speakers out as well, when I have the money.

I guess Im just wondering, are there alternative ways of installing my deck without having to buy the expensive wire harness

Probably makes it a bit easier...never used one myself. I always just keep track of which wires go where.
