Can someone help with VIN?

I have a 02 prerunner that had engine problems 2 years ago, turned out to be a low compression in #! fron the rings. I ordered a engine from Engine and transmission word for $1800.00 I installed it yesterday and at first the idel was up to 2k so I changed the TB and now its fine. they told me the engine had 39k on it but I would like to verify it.

Does any one have a free vin checking site and could they run the vin and E-mail it to me? I would really like to know how many miles are on it.
