So my roommates brother is a jeep bro and recently had 3 out of 4 of his mud terrains slashed, or stabbed rather the cuts are about 1-1.5 inches. He is willing to let them go for next to nothing and I want them.

However I've been told a professional tire place will not patch sidewalls, can I do it myself?
