Can you take out the front bed storage compartments without breaking the tabs?? If so how?

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i think i lucked up on one side and got them out w/o breaking the tabs, but on the other side i busted the 2 top ones off and had to put a screw in to keep it in and secure.

I believe you push down and pull out the top. I've had mine out a couple times to run wires and I think that's what I did. They popped out fairly easily so if you are forcing it, stop.

I think they sorta rotate from the top into the bed once you push down on the bottom.

I got mine out without breaking tabs the first time. Not so lucky the second, but it stays put, so I haven't done anything about it.
