Anyone here getting this done to their 3rd Gens?

I brought the T-TCI-5133 printout in with me for my 16K maintenance. Service manager hadn't seen it before and they hadn't done it on any Tacomas so far. Has anyone else in BC or Canada had it done yet? Results?

I had it noted on my records but declined to be the first one.. We'll see at next maintenance if they've done more.

Had it done or two weeks ago. Phenomenal upgrade. Feels like a brand new truck.

I had mine done yesterday along with a radio update. It truly is a different truck. No more surge while accelerating, smoother shifting, no gear hunting and the 80-90km/h stumble or "vibration" is gone. These were my issues with this truck since I bought it 1.5 yr ago. Some have said their MPG goes up but honestly I could care less. I am truly happy now!

I feel my L/100 has improved. Though I don’t have a lot of Kms on it since.
    Very glad mine is done.

Still Stock but working on changing that fast
I go in Thursday for the update. Hopefully they don’t try and give me the run-around.

Also going to have the front body mounts looked at. Clunking over every bump now. Started out here and there, now all the time.

What’s this radio update about? How do I get it or know I have the lastest updates already installed?

Had mine done this morning. The service rep didn’t know anything about it but I had the paperwork to go through with him. Took about 40 mins including car wash. Only had one drive so far but didn’t feel or hear any surges. Here’s the paperwork from Toyota:

    Really enjoy it.
Suits my needs as don’t need a full size
    Rides nice, looks nice
You pay a bit for above but you know you re gettting what it for.
    Durability and holds value.
Won’t be any silly repairs such as water pumps or electrical issues
3rd Tacoma now We have a Toyota garage...
