Fits good, had a little trouble aligning the bolts to the holes, easier if done with a second person, you will need a flat head screw driver to remove the black covers inserted into the pre dilled holes under the cab.

I don't know how many folks here have had a blow out with OEM style running boards? But, If your blowout catches just right (at highway speed especially), it will rip your simple, aluminum running board clean out of the frame of your truck, and cause quite a cosmetic mess (trust me). It's silly to get anything other than sliders.

Are you talking about oem style boards or actual oem? For stuff like that. I try for oem. But if I had to go aftermarket running boards and I hsd 2 options i liked. I would generally try n buy the more expensive one hoping that they'll be more sturdy. Look n fit better. So far. The oe one I bought is very solid and I'm happy w it.

A second recommendation for rock sliders versus OEM style running boards. The latter option is definitely a damage multiplier should it ever catch on something.

Demello among others offers a bolt on option:

Good question: I would contact Demello Offroad directly - 951-735-4417 - The above link is for a local retailer in my area.

Do you find those annoying getting out of the truck? Or do you actually put your foot on them on the way out?

I think they will help if your putting on new wet Okoles seat cover to prevent sliding across the piping so you you do not where it out.

We have no test fit the new 2016 Tacoma's yet, if you are local you could be the first.

Its a shame I'm in Pittsburgh PA, if i was local or close I'd defiantly consider coming down for a test fit.......
