Cant get U-Bolts nuts off. Need Help

    The bolts holding the U-Bolts wont budge. Any ideas?

    Sawzall if you have new u-bolts. It's a common problem.

    ride that sucker with an impact til the compressor tank is empty. If that doesn't work, try some penetrating oil and ride that sucker again. If that still doesn't work, hit NAPA for some new u-bolts and take a grinder to 'em.

    cutting wheel on grinder. If you cant even get them off easily you cant reuse them. Id only reuse them if the truck was new and they came off real easy.

    Plus 1 on PB Blaster, best break free stuff I've ever used. When I know I'm going to have stubborn bolts, I spray them before I start working. Never had an issue, and I've done a lot of exhaust work where rusty bolts are the norm.

    If that don't work, cut them off and get new ones and just keep chugging, not worth your hassle. If they are on that tight and corroded, they may destroy themselves trying to take them off anyway.

    I tried the PB Blaster, I even sprayed them down the night before. We just gave up and assembled everything back together. I think I'm gonna try to buy some new U bolts and try again in a week or two after I find some U bolts. Hopefully I wont have too much trouble finding any.
