    There is an adjustment under the settings on the radio head.

    Yeah that's under your general settings or display settings on the radio. I'm sure the manual gives step-by-step instructions for navigating through menus on the head unit if you can't find it.

    Yeah that is another good point, if you have your headlights on in the daytime you can adjust the cluster brightness all the way up so the head unit isn't dimmed.

    Is there a way to have the "daytime" Nav map run when your lights are on? My map turns blackish when it runs at night. I would much prefer it remain bluish like it does during the day. I realize this is to keep glare down in the driver's area but I'd still like it to be bright blue when I am driving at night!

    Well gee, in our county/state it's against the law to NOT have your lights on if it's raining or snowing....any suggestions now?

    I just wish there was a way to turn ALL the instrument lights off at night.

    I found the setting!

    You have to first turn your parking or headlights on!

    Setup=>Display=>(enable) Daytime

    Mine was too dim as well even though my windows are tinted. I can't imagine you could see a thing if your windows were untinted and it was sunny out. Thanks for the info
