Does the spare tire have a tpms sensor, or do I need to reset the code? 38 psi on all four tires , still have light.
Or should I look in the manual?

Mom just texted me saying she's going to put one of our dogs down. Kidney failure and she doesn't want him to suffer. Poor pup, had a great life of playing ball and swimming in the pool. He'll be playing with my other pups soon at least

 

Only had it for a couple years I believe when 2nd gen came out. Is it blinking when you start the truck then stays on solid? If so it's probably a TMPS that the battery died in.

 

It blinks when starting, then stays solid. The reset button didn't work, I need to drop the spare and check it.

 

If it's a bad sensor I'll fix it it with electrical tape over the light.

 

That's a bad sensor. Mine does the same thing. They can scan it and tell you which one it is. Bastards are $110 at Toyota and $90 at a tire shop here. I saw on partsgeek I believe it was you could buy the Denso sensor for around $30-35.

 

Black tape it is, maybe I'll replace it when I get my next set of tires.
