cap for 2005 xtra cab

Hi,

I'm looking for a -- cheap -- cap for my well-worn 2005. Mechanically
great; cosmetically a little rough - which is why I don't want to spend much
on a cap (I know how to spray paint, etc.).

On craigslist, locally, I have someone who has offered up a cap that's on
their 93. From what I can tell, the dimensions (while clearly different) are
pretty close. Has anyone hacked in a cap from that era onto a Taco that's
2005 or newer? My 05 is the xtra cab (suicide back doors; 6 foot-ish bed).
It's the tie-down rails I'm wondering about. I'd rather not drill if I don't have
to (I have lots of clamps!).

Any suggestions are welcome!
