Well, I promised I'd wait until she showed up. Now that she's arrived it's time to start the thread. Pics will follow as I get everything installed.

First - the DCLB ride is outstanding. It feels like a full size truck but she still fits within Austin's narrow surface streets. The tech package so far has been worth it, though I've only really focused on the heated mirrors and blind spot monitoring so far. Factory stereo is good - not missing the JBL at the moment (and with my tinnitus, I probably couldn't tell the difference anyway). Yes, she's merely a RWD pavement princess, but 99% of the places I go are paved. Since I could get to the unpaved places I visit in my old Corolla, RWD would be fine for me.

The fit and finish is better than the GMC Canyon, and that's what really matters. Soooo glad I waited.

I've got the Husky Weatherbeaters installed already (did that when I took possession), and they work great. I wear cowboy boots all the time, and the heels don't slide around or dig a hole. Perfect fit, too.

The Extang 2.0 tri-fold tonneau and Steelcraft 5" ovals go on this weekend when I can see what I'm doing and am not sick anymore (I hope). I've also got @rrentrop's vinyl tailgate decals to install - gloss white on the blazing blue - which definitely leads to the whole Captain Ameritruck vibe.

My wife gave me a Vinyl Pop! Captain America as a "truckwarming" present, and I'm trying to figure out the best place to get him attached.

To everyone who has expressed an interest in this truck finally arriving, wished me well, offered congratulations (or condolences when the build date kept slipping), I wish a sincere thank you to you all.

    Well done, and congratulations.

Curious, what plant is she from given you're just up the street from San Antonio?

VIN starts with 5, so she was born exactly 69 miles from my house (heh heh heh). I know three people who work the SATX line from when I was stationed at the former Kelly AFB. Two are ANG C-5 mechanics one weekend a month, and a C-5 needs a lot of work. They did a fantastic job.

I don't know what it was, but I was anxious for you too.
Seems like you have a vision and I look forward to your build.

Drives fine, and jumps to it when asked. I don't get the complaints. It's more responsive than my father-in-law's Highlander, and beats the shit out of my wife's Prius. My commute won't let me drive it like a hot-rod, but when I need on the highway it's more than happy to get me there.
