    I FOUND IT!!!

    After many months of stalking, I found it in the last place I would of looked - half a block from my in-law's house.

    I can't believe the search is over. Now, I begin a new task...convincing the owner to join us here on TW.

    It is an epic truck.

    It is a chrome cathedral to the first gen. Sorry for the crappy pics, but now that I know where it lives I will be getting others.

    It's got a supercharged 4.0 (so says all the chrome on the back), chrome rod holders...

    ...so beautiful...

    I used to see it everywhere but less and less recently. Back in the day he has some sort of dog cage like custom builthe into the bed and IT WAS BAD ASS!!!

    Here in Baton Rouge, I saw a 2nd gen tacoma, but they replaced all the badges with Lexus badges, even created its own lexus model code (DV500 or something like that) it was kinda cool except for the fact that he ruined it by using chrome sheet metal to line the entire bottom half of the truck..I need to try and get a picture next time I see him.

    Yes, pics are definitely needed. Is he also running stupidly large rims and low-profile tires? There are a couple of those I see around here in my morning commute, and both appear to be contractors or in construction. Each time I see them I think "why?" only because of how that affects functionality.

    Can't wait until 500 pounds of crap in the bed pops the bead on one of those tires...
