    Dish soap is OK as long as the PH isn't to high or to low. Most tend to be high, 9.0 or higher.

    No lubricant in dish soap? I use Dawn dish soap as a lube to mount my motorcycle tires.

    I just use the Meguiars because I get it cheap at work. Had anybody tried the Meguiars soap in a foam cannon? I'm looking at picking up a foam cannon soon.

    It’s not the same as a dedicated car wash soap. You can feel the difference when moving a wash mitt across the paint.

    I never knew there was a difference either. Washed many vehicles in Dawn…now I cringe at the thought.

    I've used their Gold Class soap in a foam cannon, it did ok. Not the thick shaving cream foam kie you see in many videos, but it was good enough.
