I’m guessing this only worked with the ABC harness and not the car solutions kit?

Yes, he designed this for himself but also had made a few extra so I bought one. He is a genius. We have been working on a few other electronic design projects since then. The latest is a PCB that uses the MESO micro-switches for the TRD Pro shift knob and my illumination mod.

Trying to figure out if any of these works for a 2013 with JBL entune headunit. Got the rfcc ttg1 but it has a 10 point non-JBL only connector. Pretty frustrating how the car solutions website shows incorrect connectors for both the ttg1 and ttg2. The pic on car solutions for ttg1 shows 12, 16 and 28 point connectors instead of the 10 point non-JBL (in place of the 12 point) I received. The ttg2 for this thread shows an 8 pin connector, but the website shows 24, 28 and 16 point connectors. Anyone else notice how the pictures and the actual wires aren’t identical?

Having some issues with installing this. 2021 tacoma, got the most recent version that supports entune 3 and the nakita camera.

Here's some pics of everything connected, but no picture (front or rear) pops up once the battery is connected and truck is turned on. What am i missing?

Edit: had to turn DIP switch 3 off for it to work.

I was hoping someone could help me with 2 requests:

    1) Anyone have any mounting ideas (with pictures) for the CS kit with a Nakita camera on a 2018 Tacoma Limited (stock grill)? I have seen posts in this thread by Tmaloy and Tullie D but was hoping there were other ideas out there.
    2) Anyone have any suggestions for getting the wires run through the firewall? I was hoping someone had some pictures of the entry point.

    Thanks in advance,

    re: firewall
There is a big rubber grommet under the master brake cylinder.

I just installed this as well and have the same issue. Did you ever figure it out?

Is there a possibility that the unit is drawing power which makes the ECU think the door is still open?

That could be a possibility. If that were the case, how would you go about fixing that?

Power the camera from a different fuse tap.

I have a 2018 Tacoma limited with the correct CS module and the Nakita camera and I got it all hooked up and it worked perfectly fine immediately afterwards and then the front camera stopped displaying an image. I can hear the CS module switch between the front and stock rear camera and it displays the rear camera just fine. When I try to switch to the front camera I just get a black screen. Again, it worked for a few hours or so. I suspect it is an issue with the camera as opposed to the CS module but I am not sure. I have pulled everything apart again and made sure the wires and connectors were connected as instructed. I have the red trigger wire from the camera connected to the red trigger wire from the CS harness. Any ideas?

Do you have anything to test the video output from the front camera only like an old small LCD TV?

red and write(or black sometimes) are audio Right and Left
yellow is composite video (same as these cameras)
red green blue is component video

just red and white is most likely audio out of the TV

I will give it a try…all we care about is if it will display any image at all…thanks for the advice. I also purchased another camera (same one) to test various pieces in the chain to the CS module.
