    To OP or anyone else that can answer.

    Do you know if the car solutions box will accept another cam in addition to the front cam? I was planning on a future install and wanted a 'front cam' and a 'bed cam' to check on the belonging in the bed or my dogs who love to ride in the bed. Meso has a cargo light mod that accepts a camera for the bed and it got me to thinking of adding another camera to the car solutions control box. However, I don't know if its set up to accept another (or 3rd cam) camera? Any thoughts?

    I'm not going to pretend I'm the expert on this, but after installing my own, I only saw two input locations. One for the front cam and one for the backup cam. I think the only way of doing this would be to re-purpose one of the inputs for your dog cam or use a separate system for the dog cam.

    My system finally arrived and took but about an hour to install. You need to remember to ground the camera and everything else is plug and play. Set mine up using guide lines and I really like the ease of parking the Tacoma where it should actually be instead of where you think it might be. Well worth the investment IMHO.

    I just received mine in the mail few minutes ago and noticed this as well and didn't hear anyone else chime-in about it which is a pretty major flaw in their installation booklet.

    Didn’t notice that as I was looking at the wires from the harness labeled front camera + 12v and front camera - 12v. Who reads instructions these days?
    I make and sell still controllers for commercial applications and the guys never know how to operate them without asking. Some cost thousands of dollars but that doesn’t seem to matter, they just don’t read the instructions

    If you purchase from Amazon you had better not be in a hurry. Mine took weeks not days to arrive. Didn’t really care as I have a grill coming from DB Customz and figured the camera was going to need re-mounted in the new grill anyway.

    eBay 7 days for me too straight from Hong Kong, but I live in Cali and close to the shipping ports. Ordered the camera on Amazon prime, 2 days of course.

    Pics of my installation, I wanted to go dead nuts center of the truck. Worked out good, I had to Notch my eBay pro grille. No problems with my tss either.

    Thanks for the video, especially the demonstration on how the controls work. I'm still undecided about getting a front camera, but this setup seems to be the most straight forward one I've seen yet.

    Hi all, I have installed my car-solutions anytime module with front camera about 3 month ago, and worked great until today. When switched from R to P (usually front camera turns on for 30 sec) my monitor started flickering and went black. By double-clicking "mode" button on the steering wheel - no front camera image...just a black screen, but can switch to rear. Has anyone experienced it? Wondering if its a camera itself or car-solutions module.

    My two cents, when I did the research on Amazon for my camera, it seemed a fair number of people said whatever brand/model they bought stopped waking after X number of months.

    I would start with my camera and see if you can get a refund on that.
