I've seen this work in other forums.... maybe it would work here ?
    You tell me.....

At most I see me using this think one day to make my few changes and throwing it in a drawer.
That would set me back about $50 min.

What if we all chipped in and bought the dongle and passed it around between us and each would only have to pony up $10 or so plus the divvied up cost for the original purchase .

Each person would be responsible under the "Honor System" to pass it to the next guy including shipping.

Am I going out there too far to try and save a buck ?
I really just don't want to have any more crap hanging around in the junk drawer but I would love to get a few more "Blinks" out of my lane change action ....

You should just ask your dealership to adjust your blinker setting. They should do it for free

    Great idea OP.

Luckily, a friend of mine locally bought one and we changed my blinker setting to blink 5 times for lane change and disabled the seatbelt chimes. I love it.

Hi everyone. New Taco owner. I was searching through the forum and ran across this thread. I went to the Carista site to do a bit more reading and it says that for the 2018 Tacoma advanced diagnostics, customizations, and advanced service are all "not applicable" (I am assuming disabled). Am I looking at the right thing? Changing the blinker settings would be a customization, correct? Also, If I pull in after changing something like a blinker settings, am I going to get anyone telling me I have voided the warranty?

Thanks in advance folks, learning a lot.
