I posted in this thread but I don’t think there is the kind of traffic over there like we have here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/center-bearing-part-number.538461/#post-21684278

Anyways looking to get some info from folks that have had success in hunting down the carrier bearing spicer part number
    5002007

I’m unable to locate one online from the usual sources. All are saying sold out.

When I tried with NAPA, never my first choice, the crooked fuckers took the spicer number...said the closest one from the part number I gave them was in TN and got me all set up to pay. At the last second I double checked if it was the spicer part that I gave them the number for....they said no that there "system referenced something else" yadda yadda yadda so I hung up.

I have one in the For Sale section, but I just sold it, pending payment.

If that sale does not work out, I will let you know.

    Check https://www.drivetrainamerica.com/
Ive had really good luck with them lately getting a CB and some U-joints when most other places said they were out of stock.

As far as the P/N goes: from what I can tell 5002334 came on the 2WD trucks. 5002007 came on 4WD trucks. Major difference is the lack of dust seals on 5002334 for the 2WD trucks. Hence why its a lot narrower if you check the dimensions sheet.

Dont ask me why, but there seems to be a ton of misinformation regarding these. The pictures on most sites seem to be backwards or something. Bottom line, I ordered Spicer P/N 5002007 from Drivetrain america and swapped it out this weekend to replace the old saggy one. Perfect fit/ OEM replacement on my 2012 4WD

Also, make sure you get the small shim washer out of the old bearing before you re-install the yoke!!

Ask me how I know..

It seems like Dana Spicer 5002007 is hard to find now. If you can find one it's expensive now. I bought one last year for $50 when they were widely available.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
I'm sure you know, but that is for 2WD. It's missing the seals over the bearing. Possibly less robust.

It falls out on the floor at 5:30 pm after you just torqued the drive shaft back in and all your tools are put away and the shop is swept up.. :annoyed:

But for real, I have no idea what its purpose is. Near as I can tell its hardened and less than 0.030" thick.. thats about it. Couldn't even find a P/N for it in my brief research Sat night

Hey good catch on the correct PN. I’ll be sure to edit the OP.

Regardless even this PN still yields no leads. Drivetrain America is sold out...they’re who I ordered my unjoints off of.
