Let's post up cars that were flash in the pan nightmares! I'll start with this baby, a 1977 Mercury Monarch. Let's keep them coming!!IMG_3306.jpg

1978 Dodge Magnum. They only made them for 2 years until they realized what a heap of shit they were. It was also my first car. :anonymous:

Is the title supposed to be Cars you never knew or thought they existed? Your Mercury Monarch is also a Ford Granada.

2016 Tacoma. Only made for 2 years and I knew it wasn't the one for me after the first test drive, but I still bought it. Had many problems that were talked over for hours on end on TW. Traded in and bought a 2nd gen instead. :anonymous:

All in good heart 3rd gens

*Meant as a joke, you'll never catch me in one, unless I swapped the 2nd gen tranny into the 3rd gen body*

I almost waited for the 2016's to hit the dealership. I bought one of the last 2015's and I haven't regretted my decision.

The Consulier GTP. Produced between '85 and '93. I got to ride in an '89 variant. Mid-engine Chrysler 2.2 I4 turbo. Car was all fiberglass, kevlar, and carbon fiber. Banned by IMSA. Aside from the variant my uncle had, I've only ever seen one in the wild.

The only thing that made the Mustang II look better was the cobra version with Farah Fawcett.

Thats why I used it looked better instead of performed better. All these older cars are really making me feel alot older now? Who can remember the AMC Gremlin, or the AMC Eagle wagon 4x4.
