...^^^... I remember this guy growing up, who had a Jeepster and put an old style Chrysler Hemi in in and used to take us young kids for rides.
Being pre-driver's, we thought we were super cool riding in his Jeepster.

My Chick-Fil-A buddy that I eat breakfast with sometime has a red Jeepster that he bought in CA (he got a super 2 owner deal) and it is really nice. The problem is driving it in hot weather because of the engine heat.

was initially gonna say a Jaguar from the transition era between classics and modern, but the grill is all wrong. and its not a somewhat similar looking Maserati but it could well have Maserati bones with a custom body.

so probably some euro custom coachbuilder.

ISO was the same business model - Italian design / build with American power.

Doesn't fit the 'Anti-Porn' theme, since they're still gorgeous, but a lot of people don't know that Plymouth made trucks for a while. Only from '37-41. Production ceased for WWII and never started again after it had ended. Plymouth didn't offer another 'truck' until they started selling rebadged Ramcharger's in the mid-70's

One more - parents had a '79 Mark V, black on black with a red leather interior, if I remember correctly. They hated the oversized bastard. Those giant doors were a ding-inducing menace at the local mall. They wound up trading it for an Aerostar.

Reminds me of my '79 Toronado. Exact same issues, and ginormous front end.Toronado.jpg

I miss the hell out of that car.
