So guys, i just got toytec ultimates and spc control arms and im trying to figure out what i should set the base caster to prior to taking it to the alignment shop. Im going to have the coil overs set at atleast 3"- probably 3.5" (i know it jacks up the pre-load). I also want to push the tire as far forward in the wheel well as possible. Any thoughts? Ive heard and ready anything from the +2 thats already built into the arms to +4.

If it's a shop that knows what they're doing, they'll put the SPC UCA in the correct slot position to center the tire in the well, but good luck with that. You'll probably want to put in position C until you can get it on a rack. Just make sure the alignment shop maxes out the caster in the LCA first, then move up to the UCA for adjustment. Your standard tire shop may struggle with the concept as most UCAs are not adjustable and it will blow their mind.

BTW, the prescribed recipe for the alignment: 0 degree Toe, 0 degree Camber, about 3 degrees of Caster, minus 1/2 degree or so on the left side to compensate for road crown.

As long as you're not going to Fat Bobs in Utah, you should be good.
