Will taking out the rear cat and replacing it with a pipe cause any problems?

Probably worse emissions but it shouldn't throw a code since the o2 sensor is before it

If you have emissions testing in your state you'll fail, your truck will pollute substantially more and it will sound like shit. Don't really see any benefit to doing it. If you need a new one just go aftermarket, or find one in a junkyard. Much cheaper than OEM.

Wrong. No cel. O2 sensors on front cats for my 2014.

Also just completed 6500 mile crosscountry wheeling trip. All good. Perfomance improved.

I've always curious, Is there a performance improvement if you delete the cat?? If your running a supercharger, I know it's deleted for off road use. The guy that did my cat back said there would
be a 7 percent hp improvement, but I read posts on the internet that there are small differences,
    Anyone with real experiences??

I can see maybe WoT but being a honeycomb design I can't really see it restricting that much :notsure:

and someone (@thunderone ) beat me to my favorite meme :D

the piping restricts down to 2.25" with the factory cat tho. hes running smaller pully, fuel mods, and headers so he possibly could see some gains keeping everything 2.5"

I'm running a 2" pulley and at 6000 feet, so it is pushing almost 10 pounds of boost, so that's why I was curious

Having had my cat stolen a while back and we welded a pipe in till the one I ordered arrived. I did have a cel the entire time without the cat and noticed no difference driving other than the sound change.

For the supercharged guys the performance may change N/A id say no
