    Hey all.

Replacing both Cats and New exhaust. Problem is having hard time breaking these nuts. Which are not too rusted out..

Does anyone know. Is this a stud with just nuts and washer?

Not sure why the star is on the bottom of it.

Any ideas on how I can break these 3 nuts loose? 14mm

If I can break these 3 loose, i can avoid having to mess with the rest of the exhaust and other Cat. This is the first cat coming from the headers.

    Any advice?

I put PB blaster on it. They dont look too rusted, and tried a small impact already. About to get the breaker bar and a long extension.

    Thanks again!

They are going to break. Knock out the stud and just put a bolt with a nut and washer. If you can't get the stud out you might have to drill them out big enough to put a bolt in there

Can you unplug o2 sensor and unbolt cat and just remove it from the truck? Might help with using an impact gun to remove the nuts.
