I saw i post about this recently
My taco started making rattling noises
Check shield and it was loose
The fasteners had rusted, i pulled one off the others i had to chisel off once i removed the shield
I bought some 1” bolts and nylon nuts and reattached it
    So far so good

Welcome to the club! Started getting a rattling noise a few years ago. That circular clamp attaching to the tail end of the shield had rusted out on mine requiring replacement.

Those nylon nuts may not last very long, due to the heat. More than likely you'll need to get some standard nuts. Be prepared for that.

Spell check made it nylon nuts
They are the nuts with nylon inside
Your right though the nylon might melt
If they melt will have to put a lock washer on
    Time will tell

That rattle can be very annoying.
I have always used a big hose clamp.
