Had mine done in December. My dealer got the parts in 3 weeks later. Haven't noticed any changes.

I got my first loose internal Thursday. Done about 40 so far. You won't notice anything before and after except for the internal rattle gone. The only exception is if a piece or pieces break off and rotate in such a way to restrict the flow. This is what they are concerned about.

I called the dealer again as it's been about two months since the parts were ordered. Well, the parts were in (who knows how long they have been sitting there) and it's been scheduled for repair this Thursday.

Just had mine done on Friday when I took it in for an oil change and I noticed the same thing. I was afraid they'd spilled oil down on the headers, but it cleared up pretty quickly.

Possible they tweaked the body shield by accident. Not really a rattle ,more like a buzz.
Is it just a certain rpm or load ? Or maybe the cat was gone and there is a little piece hanging around down stream? Or is it just a different tone? Never had a issue so far with the ones I've done. Dono

It's not new, it's not Mexico
My Cat was replaced under warranty Nov 13. Then in Dec 15 the special service campaign, exhaust pipe replacement for catalytic converter was done.
What took the longest was waiting for the exhaust to cool down, but gave me a chance to wander around the lot.

Bought my 2011 4 banger private party and after putting about 4,000 more miles on it the check engine light came on. p0420, bad cat, and after almost paying a service center $1500 for the repair, a fellow TW'r pointed out the recall. Checked the VIN, confirmed it qualified, and I'm getting the service done later this week. Here's my original post if anyone cares

I might have to contact my dealer. Mine came loose back in August (ish) they did not cover it, so we took it out and gutted it. Was all broke up, now it sounds goofy! Hahaha. Oh well, didn't think there was much point replacing it for 1500 and have it fail again in 100,000km.

Pretty sure its 2010-14 4cyl. You can check your VIN on Toyota's website and it will give you instant feedback on whether or not it qualifies. Here's the link:
