Got a 2010 SR5 back in November...strong catalytic converter smell at times...is this normal for break in, or should I get it checked? Noticed it on short in town trips, approx. 3-5 miles...thanks...

    Nothing yet, brand new!
Short trips are not sufficient to bring the cats to proper operating temperature. Partial load (engine), engine to operating temperature, vary load/throttle input while breaking in. This will eliminate the platinum palladium "rotten egg" odor.
