I'll have to keep that magnet trick in mind when I do mine. Nice setup btw; mine is very similar (white w/ leer also). I have a prinsu rack on order.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Most of these shops are real small and focus on building the product. They keep a small front-of-house and don't invest much in the technology to maintain that customer relationship. It's just the nature of the industry right now.

You can assume the negative and say "Well they don't care about me." or you can do like the rest of us and plan out the installation properly, or your next mod, or just enjoy your truck.

    ib4 the lock.

Any small fab shop that is slammed is always trying to balance product manufacturing and paperwork, most of these guys probably have the same fab guys doing emails so if they're slammed catching up on BF orders then its likely they aren't responding to emails.

And you can make excuses all day for companies who don't give simple shipping updates. I guess I hope the "nature of the industry" changes to be more in line with other (small) industries I give my money to.

I want to be clear that for the most part, cbi has been great at getting back to MY emails, and I have never felt ignored by any means. My issue with their customer service is that they don't take it upon themselves to give delay timelines/updates, and they did not honor their own "shipping date" on my original order/invoice.

You should change the thread title then. That doesn't sound like bad customer service. Yes, I am a CBI fan.

Your cbi looks great. I can't wait for mine. Customer serivice means different things to different people. When I think of *good* customer service, I think of among other things; relaying important information regarding delays in production/shipping to the customer.

How must the OP like seeing this vendor ignore him on here and then comment on another member's post. Mobtown posted multiple times, so just shows who believes in customer service.

Perhaps your expectations would be better met purchasing only mass-produced products sold on Amazon.com.

It's far too difficult to do it. I've looked into it. With them you either use their fulfillment center or we do it in house but must ship within a couple days. That requires stock and we do stock a lot of our stuff but when we run sales here on TW it cleans us or quicker than expected sometimes. Things for us could go south fast with Amazon if something happens and we can't ship right away. We are still just two small of an operation to do it unfortunately.

This is true - I handle performance parts sales for a local shop based out of Boston for Evo/Subaru/GTR's and I'm constantly getting price match requests with Amazon... In fact people will come to me with questions, ask millions of them and then go on amazon and buy them.

    Word.

I sell my stuff there and I think the shipping is within 48 hours but I could be wrong. Maybe it's 72.

Either way, it's definitely inventory dependent.

Tell ya what.. move me to wherever you are and let's get this shit rolling hard.

You sure? It's 8 degrees here right now with just under a foot of snow on the ground.
