Anyone had any issues after listening to a CD that it won't eject? it works intermittently and when you hit the button, you hear the sound but nothing happens? I have an appointment at my dealer to check it out but last night it was working fine, maybe software issues?

Your first mistake is using CD's :p

On a serious note, I hope you figure out the issue. Sounds like a dealer visit is necessary.

Take another CD put it in the slot. It will push down the CD in the player and won't load the 2nd CD. Then take the 2nd CD out then try pressing eject again. Sometimes the CD gets pushes up a bit and the ejector has a problem ejecting the CD.

    Check build thread
I think it would've been better if it had an 8 track.

But seriously people still use CDs?
Dude you can get 64gb USB sticks for like $15 now days, load it with all your CDs and you'll never have to worry about them ejecting again

Curious for the guys using CDs. Do you still buy them? I got into a argument with the wife about DVDs and CDs and how she shouldn't buy either anymore.

I think the last CD I bought was because it was cheaper for a combo cd/digital copy then just the digital copy. My last car didn't have a digital input so I ended up using the CD quite a bit.

CD user here, have hundreds of them, purchased another earlier this week (Umphrey's McGee - Zonkey) and I'm 50+.

My teenage son and I did a comparison between CD song and an mp3 made from it in my 2016 Sport Premium Sound system. The quality of the CD sound was far superior. Yes you can convert to mp3 in different ways so some will be better than others but you always lose something.

I can't argue the convenience of a couple gigs of mp3's and have a collection on my phone for ease of use when needed, but quality of sound is more important to me so it's typically CD's in the truck.

Those that have grown up with only mp3's and earbuds don't know what they are missing.

    Carry on.
