You would think so, and the overhead can be so obtrusive at night.

Hey to each his own... that's the beauty of any mod- something to make the vehicle your own. I plan on keeping mine for a couple decades at least so I want to do it right the first time. Really my only contribution in this is the addition of a pressure switch. If you do something different or even different colors, feel free to post it up here or on a new thread!!

I had something similar (megnetic switch kind) and would have been content with that but the damn stickers kept comming off with the heat here. So finally figured if I was gonna have to do a perm solution (pos super glue it) I might as well do it right. I researched others that did basically the same thing several times and did my own version of theirs.

Doing this mod right now. I already have 1 in the cup holders (in the center between the two larger ones), 2 in the glove box (I agree with you on the two in the glove box). All are currently running off an illuminated switch between the cig. plugs. I shaved down one of the covers there so the switch would fit. Also made it easier to tap into the cig power and ground. I like the switch set up and am still on the fence about setting up the NC switch for glove box and center console.

    Anyone want to chime in.

    Thanks for this write up.

    Just getting started
sub'd and going to revive this thread... although I am sure it somewhere else too.

I'll be combining a few people's mods (stealing) their research.

    thanks in advance.
