Center Console Mods! Grid It and Gun Hiding Spot...Update: Bar Caddy Organizer too.

So I joined the bandwagon and did the Grid It mod to my 15 Taco, and glad I did.. Pretty nice to keep small stuff organized...

Also need a place to keep my gun's safe and out of site in the case I can't carry it somewhere, and for the time being made a temp. false bottom for the center console to keep my S&W Bodyguard 380 out of site and out of mind... Just used some packaging material that is used inside a Pro Comp leveling kit box we were throwing out at work, haha.

I am planning to see if I can get a Bolt Lock tumbler to do the locking center console mod and be able to use my factory key soon.

 

Saw some guys using the normal run of the mill bar caddy for a center console organizer, but reading comments on Amazon, they said once it's in, it's in... So I got one off ebay and made some adjustments...

Then filed down the edges, put some drawer liners in it, and it works awesome!


Nice way to organize better.. Still used to my Ram's center console where it had dividers but I am starting to like this set up...
