Center Shift Cover

I don't think anyone mentioned this single cup holder on any threads. Did the engineers or designer just forget about this spot and say "We'll just put a cup holder there". You would think they would have made something more practical with this space. Does anyone know of any aftermarket covers that can replace this?

 

I put the OEM flip lid ash tray there to hold trash and change.

 

I put my small Nalgene bottle in there

 

Is it just me but a lot of cups/bottles don't even fit in the cup holders. The side-by-side cup holders in the front always seem to come up when I pull a cup or bottle out...

 

Really irritating too. My woman always laughs at me like its my fault lol

 

Is there a way to make them stay? It irks me every time and I just want to throw it out the window.

 

Not that I know of.

I see guys replace the 2 rubber deals with one adjustable thing in the middle.

I guess thats a fix lol

 

Just get the prior year plastic insert and get rid of the rubber ones.

 

I concur, it seems a bit of an afterthought. I am pretty sure there is a DIY Hydroflask conversion holder on here using PVC. I am going to convert mine to a larger one. The rubber ones always come up. I leave one out for larger beverages and the other hides my subwoofer remote gain knob.

Except tall boys.......my friend told me.

 

The long slot next to the shifter fits my glasses case like it was made for it, though!

 

I've done this. Had to pull over and use a pice of paper to get it out.

Very frustrating lol

 

I've never actually placed a tall boy can in there before.They don't fit diameter wise from what i'm thinking.Good lookin out Mitch!

 

I used my sons nerf dart with a suction cup on it...like it was meant for it.

 

HAHA!!!! I may have to keep one of those handy!
