I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I have that answer for you.
The Pelfrey's closed up shop leaving all that stuff in there. The building owner filed it as abandoned property, 90 days passed it's all his. He was told it was scrap they were going to toss it all. One of his brothers was a Jeep guy and said whoa this is all finished goods don't toss it sell it! So they contacted the auction company to sell it off. There was way too much in there to make an auction for every part so they listed it as a lot. So pretty much get this shit out of my building so I can rent it.

Fast forward to February Jeremy the auctioneer finds TW by searching the pelfreybilt name. Tried posting the auction here and got banned with the quickness! Threads get posted word gets out a few days later @jberry813 and I dug deep and out bid and took the auction. This was literately big bank take little bank and our pockets were deeper PS our max bid was 150,000! but the other gave up at 130k Light weights
    :spending:

Now for the funds we don't know where they all will go. The owner may get to keep it all but I can assure you not a dime will go to the Pelfrey's. The courts might take what's over his claimed loss and just make him whole but that's up to the courts.

Pretty much in a nut shell.

Yea but I don't need super high end enamels. I stocked up. will probably have to hit em up to paint the fence in a few years. 800'LF of 6' iron fence. *shudders* gonna learn to hate painting all over again. It's the wood stains and primers that are hard to come by.

That was a term of condition on the auction. Pallet racking had to stay.

It would have been cool to burn all those pallets at the next desert trip. Assuming they're not treated lol

And you’ll take it every time? At the beach or in a fire pit, nails suck. They suck to step on and they suck to run over. The magnetic sweeps don’t work well in sand or dirt so best not to burn whole pallets.

Last pallet fire I had we figured the beer math out to be about 35000 nails in the pit when we were done.

You just have to spread the dirt around and run the magnet over multiple times. I’ve never burned pallets myself due to not having a truck and all but watching a stack of 30 pallets burn would be worth the clean up the next day.
