If I can find it, in protest. I'm placing the decal upside down on my rear bumper.

I was never a fan of the new logo, and that's when they seem to be more focused on being a brand, retailing other products... I wished they had stayed a small fab shop just making great armor.

Well said. I hate to see them go, they made quality products. I don't think they intentionally screwed anyone over, though filing for backruptcy WHILE still taking orders was wrong IMO. They should have put intake on hold while they worked on existing orders and finding investors to further their capital before taking more orders. If they want to keep it hushed that they were struggling I'm sure they could have came up with a reason for the intake of orders to have a temporary hold. Hell even telling the community we can't keep up with demand at the moment to prevent extreme wait times we will be placing a hold on any new orders until further notice. Something to that effect anyways.

Unfortunately, they were the only real local company. Not many want to invest a lot of time in the older platforms, or they already have existing designs and are not interested in changing it, or doing anything different.

Relentless makes a nice looking bumper, but I asked and they are not interested in making a dual swing based off their existing bumper. He has good reasons not to, and companies like Demello don’t even list the first gen bumpers on their site anymore.

A lot of these reasons are why I was excited for the Pelfrey option, but everyone knows how that’s going down

There have to be some baseline measurements. I drive a 2nd gen so not really simple to get.

But for real I could build that in my garage with some steel and time.

I guess CBI will put a dual swingout on their first gen bumper now... might have found another option for my truck

Unless someone can replicate Pelfreybilts rear bumper. With camp table and additional custom features that I want. I’m going to order a CBI high clearance rear bumper.

All this takes a little wind out of my Taco modding sails. Sad times. It’s not just the money. It’s the delay tactics, the lying, the outright screwing of so many people. It’s hard to think about sending out another $2k for a 12 week wait time from some other “trusted vendor”, because a few days ago these people were “trusted” what a shitshow.

American Express has the biggest dept for chargebacks as well as a legal dept, they always get your money back. I’ve been using them almost exclusively for my business and personal use.

With Amex I’ve charged back a $1600 car part before when a company continued to delay the part I needed then were assholes about trying to get a ship date.

So, I charged it back, the company immediately called me back the next day and were upset because they get hit for 10% additional in fees along with the chargeback.

Ever wonder why Credit Card Co.'s & Banks charge such high interest rates? Just think about how many people are involved gettin' refunds, processing charge backs etc. The lawyers, judges & so on. The ripple effect goes on & on. I'm fortunate enough not to ever carry a balance but for Folks who do, they pay a portion for bankruptcies & foreclosures reflected thru rates & fees. I feel bad for those that got ripped off or who didn't get their money back but all those people I mentioned get paid. Someone has to pay for their time, their services. No winners here as far as I can see.:notsure:

I guess you never saw that table in person (or the damage that it did to most tailgates)?

Billy's was great, relentless is the biggest I have seen and great in use. Your other requests must be a pita if billy wont do them, or you just have not really looked into other vendors.

Open your eyes people, there are a lot of companies out there not fucking people over with better gear if you really look at the build behind the pictures.

Most all American Express cards don’t extend credit, you have to pay it off every month. Plus, I pay almost $100 annually for my personal card, $0 for my business card.

Just to be perfectly clear I wasn't pointing any fingers or anything like that. I was just trying to illustrate how bankruptcies filter thru & get absorbed somewhere.

I understand, I’m aware “charge offs” from bks effect banks bottom line, but chargebacks are to protect buyers.

    Yes multiple times...
Tyler had one in 2001 long before Pelfreybilt was a company. Satin had one before she even met Tyler. Now they have one together as Pelfreybilt.
