I just picked up my first Taco (02 Prerunner!) and love it! The only thing is that I find the shifter (auto) seems...well dated!

I've googled up different replacement auto shifter knobs, but most of them seem generic and don't say which vehicle applications it is used for.

    Is this the case?
    An example would be this:

Anyone know if this can be done?
    Thanks for your time!

    thats true eh?
I suppose I'd have to make a seperate button for the overdrive though?

Second thought, the 05+ models don't even have a "push" button to move between gears does it? I think us 1st gen guys would need that

Bumppp still stumpped... Anyone figure this out? Same issue....

Resolution may be to get a push button (gear unlock) shifter and relocate the OD switch elsewhere??
