I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma that came with two speed wipers and would like to change over to Intermittent Wipers. Toyota tells me it can not be done. Does anyone know the solution? Hard for me to believe this cannot be done. Thanks

Willyj11, Yes it can be done. Here is the new Toyota switch part number 84652-02610. Price is approximately $90-100 for switch.

There are several write ups already posted here on how to change. Do a search to find.

If you wanted cruise control, it's just as easy to do.

Can be done. X2 2011 Base, took 15 minutes. $110 or so for part
    with shipping. (I used 2010 part...same---same 2011)
I have part number posted in another thread if you need it.

Agreed, cruise is almost easier to install. I think that took me 14 minutes. :D

I did this mod to my truck today. It took me longer to get the plastic off the column than to change the switch. 2 connectors, unhook the old one, snap in the new one, connect the 2 connectors, done.
