RP turns clear after about 30 seconds of engine idling. I know from quite a few oil changes with it.

Just count how many empty jugs you have, that will tell you if you miscounted

Alright, I had just about 5 qts of oil in my drain pan so I'm going with some how some way a qrt or so didn't drain out. Either way I've spent too much time on an oil change. Weird, but problem solved.

Thanks for the input TW

You may have 5 quarts in the pan, but does that account for the oil in the filter?

It should, I drained the filter into the pan. I just took out about 3/4 a quart from my truck and she's right about where she should be. When I said way over I might have exaggerated.
