    HI,

I have a 1998 tacoma with original headlights. The bulbs are fine, but the lenses have yellowed and faded. Any suggestions on what to change out? I see just lenses for sale and also entire headlight assemblies. Im thinking Im going to stay with regular bulbs and not leds.

    thanks

    1. You can use a headlight restoration kit to improve the clarity of the housing
    2. There are many bulbs out there. OEM will last the longest but some want a different "color" and buy tinted bulbs. The search feature will give you a general consensus of what people think of those.
    3. I think you mean HIDs not LEDs unless you are talking about fog lights.
Have fun searching around the sight:)

    thanks for the reply.

I guess what Im wondering is, I saw a tacoma that was about my year but the h.l.s looked really clear and nice and new.

So can I achieve that my replacing the plastic "lense", or should I replace the whole headlight, bulbs and all.

I dont want the "bmw" light look, either.

And thanks for the cleaning/restoration tip as well.

nothing, all stock expect got a OE replacement air filter K&N.
sir, you can try looking to replace to the lens but i don't know about doing the work.
best solution to clear out the hazy yellow stuffs on the lens is get youself the headlight restoration kit. its best to go that route and save you time and money. plus, you can do it on your other cars with yellow headlights. something for you to think about.
