Yeah I still plan on making it down. My new truck parts are here and I want to install them, but they will wait. I need a break and get away so I choose camping.

I've never run a proper trail so I'm thinking of giving this a go. Wondering if my turd gen will make it though. Standard travel suspension 1" lifted with 31.5" tires. I've seen some videos of the gap and it looks pretty gnarly in some sections. What do you guys think that have run it before?

I think you would make it. However, you would most likely come out with some battle wounds.

Also, weather should be awesome this weekend! Highs in the low 90's/upper 80's. So depending on how high up the mountain we camp it could get a little chilly, be prepared. After checking some camp spots out on Sunday, it's clear that firewood is scarce, if anyone can bring wood in sure we'll use it and it will make setting camp a little easier. I have a ton of wood if anyone wants to swing by this week and grab some, I can only take so much.

I have a ton of 2x4s from a project that my daughter did for school. It is free of nails/screws if you want me to bring those.

I am out by Apache Junction and the best route for me is to do 60 east and then the 79 thru Florence. There is a Shell station out in Gold Canyon if you want to meet there and continue on. 7138 US-60, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118

Bring them along! We'll burn em! As long as it's not treated wood.... don't need anyone getting dizzy around the fire!
