The lift is the JBA UCAs, OME 887 coils with the driver side lean spacer, Front Bilstein 5100s, and the rear icon AAL. Same tires I've had for about a year but I am debating on jumping up to 33s.

So far, the ride is nice. I previously had the 5100s at 1.85 up front and with them back at 0, paired with the 887 coils, the ride is definitely improved. I didn't drive it much today as I need to get an alignment. We did a quick one in the garage so I wouldn't tear my tires up driving 30 minutes back to my house.

Cost wise, I would say it's pretty effective. You could opt for the Light Racing UCAs too save a bit of money. Also, I don't know if new UCAs were necessary, but I did it for peace of mind knowing the alignment shop wouldn't have an issue.

    EDIT:
I'm actually thinking of letting the local High School automotive class do the alignment. Long story, but I did the lift at my buddy's dad's garage. His younger brother is still in high school and is taking Auto Shop. I figured the boys could get some real world experience with someone coming in and requesting particular alignment numbers. And I know the kid doing it so that would be a bit of peace of mind.

A few more photos while I rode around today after Easter brunch with the family. I won't be getting an alignment for another week as I'm flying to San Francisco for a work conference tomorrow and I'll be gone all week. Tires don't seem to be wearing and she tracks fine at 60mph so I don't see an issue.

Quick comparison from some older pictures:

    5100s at 1.85

    And the new 3in lift:

I don't have any use for one right now. I've looked at the mob town recovery bar for up front but that would be it.

The truck is used for running down the beach and the occasional trail, nothing crazy. My rear bumper does have some small dings so maybe I'll get a rear one when the time is right.

I think my next mod is going to be some smoked tail lights and the smoked third brakelight.

Either that, or I may save up for a softopper or a tonneau cover of some kind.

I talked to a buddy who works at a Yota dealership and he confirmed I probably need those sensors re-calibrated. The guy who installs lift at the dealership said this is a common problem after suspension lifts.

I'm in San Fran for the week and the truck is sitting at the airport untill I get home on Friday.

Just be careful around hard corners until they're calibrated. vsc may kick in and try to throw you off the road. My daughter would love to see San Francisco someday. Have a safe trip!

The sun finally popped out and turns out today is training day for the conference... I'd dint sign up for any training. Boss man told me to get out and explore.

Anybody have any recommendations? I'm in the Financial district and I'm going to walk to the Wharf so I can the Golden Gate and Alcatraz

And I had a blast spinning tires on the undeveloped roads in Captains Cove. No VSC to kick in lol

I had a buddy tint his tail light using a wrap type of film. If he ever needs to see it he can just peal it off.

There is a GB starting up for Softoppers here in about a week. I've always thought these were awesome, I just need to choose a color.

Currently leaning towards the charcoal as they should tie in to my gunmetal theme everywhere else.

    Thoughts?

Got my alignment dialed in this AM. I did the typical TW numbers of 0 Toe and Camber, and about 3 casters. She drives like butter now.

I also had the shop pull the codes for the ABS and Trac lights and they went above and beyond. They traced the problem back to no continuity through the driver side and harness to the sensor. A new harness is $70, but I I'm going to get the soldering iron out tonight and see if I can't fix it myself.

They did say they were surprised my truck was running fine. Most vehicles when the ABS light comes on they go it to limp mode and won't let you go over 25.

I pulled the harness out of the driver side and started to peel back the rubber coating. I found the wire was stretched about 3/4 the way up from the driver side sensor. Soldered in new wire and plugged them back into the connectors. Thanks to some other members who told me what orientation the blue and white wires were, the lights are now off.

    I love this site!

I tried the evening bite last night but got skunked. Me and the girl are going out and plan to spend the whole day on the beach.

    I'm the big 25 today!

    Softopper has been ordered!

    Grey topper
    Mesh Rear window
    Tinted rear window
    Storage bag
    Extra clamps

So pumped to get this bad boy delivered and installed. I'm crossing my fingers hoping the grey matches the gunmetal SR8s, badges, and TRDpro grille. If it's too light, I figured I could dye it black.
