Sway bar, what’s a sway bar, I removed mine as soon as I got home with my Tacoma, only put it back on if I go to the dealership for service

Most places out here will refuse to work on a vehicle that doesn’t have it, claiming that the vehicle is unsafe

Yeah, it seems like my luck is shitty with shops anyways. Anytime I've done any complicated repairs on either of my trucks, it seems everything goes smooth, no problems. But Every time I've gone to the "professionals" because I didn't wanna mess something up, there's always stuff fucking up afterwards.

By removing the sway bar, how does it handle compared to having it on?

For me, I think the ride was better, smoother. Just more sway on the turns.
Just have to realize that, and slow down a little more on the turns.

BTW, you don't have to remove it completely, to get the same result.
I just removed the little struts on both sides, and left the bar attached to the frame.
I then secured one end to the frame so it wouldn't droop down.
Much easier to re-attach for taking to a safety-minded shop.

Awesome mod! I had to lower my spare yesterday and it sucked to line everything up, this is perfect!

I did this same thing with the maglight mounts. Got the kit at Ace hardware for $8. Pulled of the trim, and drilled a couple of holes. Mounted it up and boom all done. IMG_20161225_171222_770.jpg

I’ve thought about doing this so many times, but I keep concluding that the flashlight sits on the floor right there just fine. And the umbrella sits on top of it just right.

Just my opinion but in an emergency situation you're going to want your emergency gear secure and exactly where you put it. My Maglite is part of that gear. On the butt end I have my glass breaking end cap. In the event of an emergency I want it handy and exactly where it's supposed to be. A crash where the door is damaged and won't open, a possible submerging or to just to help someone else out who's life may be in danger. Loose and rolling around won't help you much in a situation like those mentioned above. It's a very easy mod to do and in my opinion well worth the minimal effort required to get it done. Also you'll want it secure in case of an impact or rollover. Last thing I want is something that hard and heavy flying around the inside of the cab. Just some food for thought.
    Stay safe out there!

Wow. This is getting done today. I had to get the spare down about a month ago. After 105K finally had a flat, and yes it's enough to make someone want to cuss.

To get the pipe where it needs to go, you may need to cut it and join it back with a coupling, as pictured.

Do you know if this will work on a 2015 access cab? I sure miss intermittent wipers.

A newb here so this may have been done already. Quick mod to get more use out of 3rd cup holder. My hobby is woodworking. Just get a piece of wood to fit the cup holder. Measure for the flat piece. Put the wood in the holder glue top and lay flat piece on top. Add weight. I but a small fence around the flat piece and covered with scrap vinyl, works great.
